Sean and Alisi - what a day this was! Set in the Brambles of Verdun, a wide and open venue in the Adelaide Hills, punctuated by mist and rain and full of life, joy and culture. We were able to witness two ceremonies - a traditional Western ceremony and a traditional Pacific Island ceremony. Through these two ceremonies Sean's family, who herald from Papua New Guinea and Alisi's Fijian family met and came together as two cultures. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with emotion, song and heart. I think all who attended came away with the understanding that we'd witnessed something truly special.
